Cognicolor creations on display at Seattle’s Pacific Science Center

Two pieces from Cognicolor are now on display at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle, WA.

Oberon, 2017 – Glass, wood, electronics
In Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Oberon was the king of the fairies. This piece evokes these mythical forest creatures using three-dimensional lights that rise like bubbles, fall with gravity and shoot like stars.

Anthrolume, 2014
Anthrolume is a wearable art piece with 1,000 computer-animated LEDs. The wearer’s movements warp and reshape the animations. For performance, the wearer can synchronize to music and display scrolling messages. Anthrolume displays 400 animations created over a four-year period.
